Job Summary
Echocardiographer Tech in the cath lab provides technical support for invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision. Responsibilities include assisting the physician as monitor tech and scrub tech, operating imaging equipment, interpreting basic and advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs, monitoring patient status, handling supplies, and ensuring cath lab inventory and readiness. Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience; RCIS credential may be relevant. Work involves cleaning and stocking the cath lab and supporting procedural workflows in a Magnet-designated, comprehensive stroke center hospital serving Dallas and surrounding counties. Location is in Denton County, TX, with on-site hospital duties.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Knowledge of invasive cardiovascular procedures and cath lab operations
