Job Summary
Relief Echocardiographer to perform cardiovascular ultrasound procedures in the Echo Lab, OR, ER, Cath Lab, and related settings; provide accurate, interpretable ultrasounds; manage documentation and data entry; participate in call rotation; assist with inventory and equipment maintenance; and demonstrate proficiency in transthoracic, stress, transesophageal, pediatric, and fetal echocardiography as part of the SHS Echo program. Must maintain licensure requirements (RDCS/RCS within 90 days vs OBMI) and BLS/CPR, have a valid Oregon driver’s license, and possess strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills. Experience required: six months of direct patient care in cardiovascular ultrasound; preferred advanced RDCS credentials and familiarity with Echo databases and Microsoft Office tools.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited certificate program
- Current BLS/CPR Health Care Provider certification
- Current OBMI License
- RDCS-AE or RCS required within 90 days of hire
- Six (6) months of direct patient care experience in cardiovascular ultrasound
