Echocardiographer - Registered PRN

Job Summary
Perform echocardiograms in a fast-paced clinical setting as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include clear communication, fostering collaborative relationships, accountability for performance, enhancing the patient experience, pursuing professional growth, and engaging with the team. Requires ARDMS in adult echo and/or pediatric echo (or substitute via pediatric cardiologist statement), an associate-degree echo program or accredited training, and BLS (ACLS preferred). The facility is Methodist Richardson Medical Center with regional service across Dallas/Collin counties and recognized for Stroke Center status and Magnet designation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred
- ARDMS (AE and/or PR) required
- A pediatric echocardiography competency statement from a pediatric cardiologist may substitute for ARDMS
- Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred
