Job Summary
Perform echocardiograms for patients in a multidisciplinary team environment while maintaining clear communication and building collaborative relationships. Communicate openly, take initiative for professional growth, and actively seek ways to improve the patient experience. Maintain accountability for performance and ensure a winning team culture. This Registered PRN role at Methodist Richardson Medical Center requires an ARDMS credential in adult or pediatric echo, current Basic Life Support, and an associate degree from an accredited echo program. The position supports a Magnet-designated hospital serving Richardson, Garland, Plano, and surrounding areas in Dallas and Collin counties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR)
- Current Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree echo program
- Accredited echo training program
- A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography
- Advanced Cardio Life Support
