Job Summary
Perform all echocardiograms including 2D, M-Mode, color Doppler, pulse wave Doppler, continuous wave Doppler, transesophageal echocardiogram, and stress echo at a high technical level under supervisor direction. Utilize equipment such as Philips ie33 and EPIQ, TEE probes, and Epic systems while adhering to established standards and practices. Maintain current BLS certification and RDCS or RCS credentials. Work 0700-1730 hours Monday through Friday at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a Magnet-designated hospital serving as North Texas' premier trauma and stroke center.
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association
- RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI)
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program
- High School Diploma and/or GED
- Current American Heart Association ACLS
- Experience with equipment including Philips ie33 and EPIQ, TEE probes (to include the sterilization process), and Epic
- Typing and computer skills
- 1 year hospital experience
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
