Job Summary
Perform echocardiograms for patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care. Communicate clearly, build collaborative relationships, and take initiative for professional growth within a Magnet-designated hospital. Maintain accountability for performance and actively seek ways to improve the patient experience. This registered PRN role requires an associate degree in echocardiography and ARDMS certification in adult or pediatric echo, with current Basic Life Support. Methodist Richardson Medical Center is a 443-bed acute care facility serving Richardson, Garland, Plano, and surrounding areas in Dallas and Collin counties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR)
- Current Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree echo program
- Accredited echo training program
- A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography
- Advanced Cardio Life Support
