Job Summary
Perform all echocardiograms including 2D, M-Mode, color Doppler, transesophageal, stress echo, and related examinations to a high technical level under supervisor direction. Execute required procedures for Philips ie33, EPIQ, and TEE probes while adhering to established standards and practices. Maintain current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a Magnet-designated hospital and the only adult Level I Trauma Center in southern Dallas, offering diverse programs including neonatal intensive care and transplantation services.
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association
- RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI)
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program
- High School Diploma and/or GED
- Current American Heart Association ACLS
- Experience with equipment including Philips ie33 and EPIQ, TEE probes (to include the sterilization process), and Epic
- Typing and computer skills
- 1 year hospital experience
