Job Summary
Perform all echocardiograms including 2D, M-Mode, color Doppler, transesophageal, stress echo, and related examinations under the direction of the supervisor of non-invasive cardiology. Maintain current BLS certification and RDCS or RCS credentials while operating Philips ie33, EPIQ, and TEE probes. Execute sterilization processes for equipment and utilize Epic systems for documentation. Requires one year of hospital experience and strong communication skills. Work as a registered PRN provider Monday through Friday at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a Magnet-designated hospital and Level I Trauma Center serving North Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association
- RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI)
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program
- High School Diploma and/or GED
- Current American Heart Association ACLS
- Experience with equipment including Philips ie33 and EPIQ, TEE probes (to include the sterilization process), and Epic
- Typing and computer skills
- 1 year hospital experience
