Echocardiographer - PRN - Weekends

Job Summary
Echocardiographer performs echocardiograms including 2D, M-Mode, color Doppler, pulse wave Doppler, continuous wave Doppler, transesophageal echocardiogram, and related studies under supervision in a hospital setting. Requires an associate degree echo program and/or accredited training, BLS certification, and RDCS/ RCS credentials; weekend/PRN schedule; must be able to prepare patient care, maintain patient safety, and support quality assurance while handling equipment and documentation; 1 year hospital experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association required
- Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred (note: is requirement for program completion)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Philips ie33 and EPIQ, TEE probes and Epic preferred
- Typing and computer skills preferred
- Work Experience: 1 year hospital experience preferred
- High School Diploma and/or GED
