Echocardiographer - PRN - Weekends

Job Summary
Perform echocardiograms to include 2D, M-Mode, color Doppler, pulse wave Doppler, continuous wave Doppler, transesophageal echocardiogram, and stress echo in accordance with established standards. Prepare echocardiographic worksheets for physician review, participate in quality assurance, and maintain accurate records and logs for billing. Ensure proper patient identification, safety, and confidentiality; manage supplies and assist with required and continuing education. Demonstrate independence and teamwork, prioritize STAT and routine orders, and support the cardiology team in patient care within a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association required
- RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required
- Experience with equipment including Philips ie33 and EPIQ, TEE probes (to include the sterilization process), and Epic preferred
- Work Experience: 1 year hospital experience preferred
