Echocardiogram Technician (Private Cardiology Practice)

Job Summary
Conduct high-quality cardiac ultrasound studies including echocardiograms, carotid dopplers, and venous studies while ensuring patient safety and privacy. Independently perform procedures according to policy, explain test procedures to patients, and identify critical results to notify the cardiologist. Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues, clean and sanitize work areas, and manage appointments efficiently. Maintain a professional workspace and adapt quickly to data sharing protocols. This full-time role supports all aspects of the practice with a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, and includes comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- RVT or RVS credentials
- RDMS credentials
- experience working on eCW and Vidistar
- in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the heart and vascular system
- current CPR/BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
- Registered with ARDMS or CCI in Echocardiography
- Monday through Friday
Desired Qualifications
- RVT or RVS credentials

- Desire to work with a team of sonographers
- efficient, manages appointments and time wisely
- excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Registered with ARDMS or CCI in Echocardiography (Vascular a plus)
