Job Summary
Performs and thoroughly understands 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography in adult and/or pediatric patients; maintains PI documentation in cardiac ultrasound; responsible for all cardiac ultrasound procedures and related paperwork; Licensure or certification required (RDCS or RCS) within 1 year; High School Diploma or GED required; prefers at least 1 year of clinical echocardiography experience with emphasis on adult echo; provides patient education and supports performance improvement and regulatory requirements; must participate in call coverage for emergent echo procedures; duties include equipment maintenance, supply stocking, data entry for charges, and ICAEL accreditation records; strong interpersonal communication and infection control practices are essential; this is a full-time role located in Demorest, GA with on-site responsibilities.
