Job Summary
The Echo Vascular Technologist performs routine and complex echocardiography and vascular duplex ultrasound examinations, including trans-thoracic, trans-esophageal, stress, and contrast echocardiograms, as well as peripheral venous and arterial exams. This position requires a graduate of an approved echocardiography and vascular technology program with at least 1 year of relevant experience and the ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge of echocardiographic techniques. The role includes providing preliminary interpretations of the studies performed and may involve Holter monitor setups and EKG interpretation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved program of echocardiography
- 1+ year of previous Echo/Vascular related experience
- Advanced knowledge and skill in trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms
- Ability to perform routine and complex echocardiography and vascular duplex ultrasound examinations
Desired Qualifications
- Holter monitor setups
- EEGS related experience
- Experience in EKG interpretation
- Cardiac and vascular stress testing
