Job Summary
Echo Technologist responsible for pre-scan patient identification and preparation, assisting with and observing echocardiography procedures, ensuring equipment functionality and quality control, and organizing reports. Role requires ARDMS or Sonography Canada certification and CPR; candidates should be proficient with Philips iE33, GE Vivid s6, and GE Vivid E9 echocardiography systems, with Stress and Contrast Echocardiograms considered an asset. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, commitment to continuing education, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. On-site position at Calgary clinic with relocation bonuses available for certain locations.
Required Qualifications
- 0-5 years of related experience
- Candidates must be ARDMS or Sonography Canada certified
- Registration with ACMDTT is required
- Current CPR certificate
- Ability to operate Echocardiogram machines (Philips iE33, GE Vivid s6, GE Vivid E9)
- Ability to perform Stress and Contrast Echocardiograms is an asset
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and training
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
