Job Summary
Echo Technologist responsible for preparing patients for echocardiography, performing echocardiogram exams, monitoring patient condition during procedures, ensuring quality control and equipment readiness, and assisting with report preparation. Requires ARDMS or Sonography Canada certification and CPR. Must be able to operate echocardiography equipment (Philips iE33, GE Vivid s6, GE Vivid E9), perform Stress and Contrast Echocardiograms as an asset, and work both independently and within a team. Relocation or sign-on bonuses may be available for specific locations. Position offers part-time engagements in a Calgary/Edmonton-area clinic network under WELL Health Diagnostic Centres with a focus on compassionate patient care, ongoing education, and career growth.
Required Qualifications
- 0-5 years of related experience
- ARDMS or Sonography Canada certification
- Current CPR certificate
- Ability to perform Echocardiograms (Philips iE33, GE Vivid s6, GE Vivid E9)
- Stress and Contrast Echocardiograms are an asset
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
