Job Summary
Echo Technologist performs echocardiographic studies (2-D imaging, M-mode, Doppler) with physician-guided imaging to support accurate diagnostic evaluation. Responsibilities include stress echo and Dobutamine imaging, assisting with transesophageal echocardiograms, equipment preparation and maintenance, accurate EMR documentation and patient safety throughout procedures, collaboration with healthcare teams, and adapting imaging techniques to patient needs. Requires proficiency in echocardiographic imaging and strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration. On-call, part-time role in Kirksville, MO.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography required
- Licenses and Certifications: RDMS or equivalent program accreditation; BCLS required; RDCS or RCS preferred
