Job Summary
Echo Technologist performs echocardiographic studies (2-D, M-mode, Doppler) per departmental standards and physician guidelines, ensuring patient safety and comfort, acquiring Stress Echo and Dobutamine images, assisting with TEEs, preparing equipment, documenting in EMR, verifying patient identity and consents, collaborating with healthcare teams, adapting imaging techniques to patient needs, and maintaining readiness for duties. Requires 1-3 years of echocardiography experience and RDMS certification; BCLS within 7 days; RDCS/RCS preferred. Part-time PRN role based in Crestview, FL, US.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography required
- Proficiency in echocardiographic imaging (2-D, M-mode, Doppler)
- RDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or equivalent
- BCLS - Basic Life Support within first 7 days of employment
- RDCS or RCS preferred
