Job Summary
Perform cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams according to established protocols, ensuring quality imaging that meets or exceeds ICAEL standards. Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate effectively with clinical staff while staying up to date with continuing education and best practices in cardiovascular sonography. This PRN role requires availability to cover Fridays, evenings, and weekends at our Old St Augustine Road location in Mandarin, with no call or overnight shifts. The position offers opportunities for cross-training in other modalities and performance-based incentives including a monthly bonus program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular sonography
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS, RVT, or CCI)
- Current BLS certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Able to stand for extended periods and assist in positioning patients as needed
- Outpatient only – no call or overnight shifts
- Flexible PRN schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced outpatient environment
