Job Summary
Conduct ultrasound imaging to visualize internal cardiac structures, measure valves and ventricles, and visualize blood flow. Assist physicians with complex procedures and manage departmental clerical functions, including document handling and information dispersal. Maintain current BCLS certification and hold required ARDMS or CCI credentials. Work per diem days at Olympia Fields Hospital. Prior experience with TEE testing, stress testing, and hospital cardiology fields is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- ARDMS or CCI credential
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of Echocardiogram program certification
- EKG rhythm analysis / interpretation certificate or equivalent
- Able to assist physician with TEE testing
- Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages
- Hospital experience in the Cardiology field
- Registered Echocardiographer
- Able to perform stress testing
