Perform clinical imaging procedures including echocardiography at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Receive and process patient information, using independent judgment to perform imaging exams according to policy while assuring patient safety, comfort, and protection. Assist the radiologist and attending physician, communicate effectively, and maintain a clean and safe environment by demonstrating proper equipment care. Stay abreast of professional changes through continuing education programs. Complete competency requirements before taking call in any area. Requires ARRT licensure or ADRMS registration and CPR certification.
