Job Summary
Echo Sonographer position performing diagnostic echocardiography to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics for adult or pediatric patients. Responsibilities include performing appropriate diagnostic procedures, recording test results, ensuring image quality and proper data labeling, maintaining equipment and department cleanliness, ensuring regulatory compliance, submitting high-quality images to PACS, and assisting with patient comfort and safety. Requires completion of an echocardiography program and certification in cardiac sonography (ARDMS or CCI) with BLS HCP; relocation assistance is available. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and daily pay options are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an Echosonography program
- ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac Sonography
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) OR Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Adult Echocardiography (AE) Specialty - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) Specialty - ARDMS
