Job Summary
Interpret physician requests and perform ultrasound procedures to produce quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort across all age groups. Conduct exams and support the Diagnostic Imaging customer service program, assuming additional duties as needed to enhance department productivity. Render quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies, taking precautions for serious consequences. Willing to work any part of a 24-hour shift as needed to support departmental function.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Echo cardiographer
- Graduate from an approved Ultrasound program
- ARDMS, CCI registered or eligible
- On-the job training, however registration with ARDMS or ARRT must be obtained within 1 year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Willing to work any part of a 24 hour shift as needed to enhance departmental function
