Job Summary
ECE Workforce Development Coach responsible for implementing a comprehensive early childhood education development plan to support ECE professionals, developing curriculum, tools, and resources, and monitoring systems aligned with funder initiatives (Head Start/Early Head Start). The role involves collaborating with internal/external partners, promoting professional learning and recruitment development strategies, and reporting to the Assistant Program Director. Responsibilities include developing workforce/career pathways, coordinating program objectives, building relationships with community members and stakeholders, delivering training and technical assistance, and staying current with education standards and best practices; requires a Bachelor’s degree and hands-on leadership/coaching experience in ECE. Location options include Honolulu or Hilo, Hawaii; full-time exempt position with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education, Child Development Psychology, Community/Organizational Development, or related field
- Two (2) years’ experience in an Early Childhood Education setting specifically providing leadership, coaching, and/or development of ECE professionals
- One (1) year experience providing technical assistance and training development
