Job Summary
ECE Teacher Consultant provides guidance to teachers and administrators on special education, coordinates referrals, testing and placement of students for special education programs, conducts district-wide in-service training and professional development, chairs committees, and ensures compliance with IEPs and state/federal reporting. The role involves collaboration with directors, coordinators, psychologists, and school personnel to support effective instructional services, program implementation, and family/community engagement across the district.
Required Qualifications
- Kentucky certification in Special Education
- degrees and experience commensurate with job description
- no convictions of felony or past criminal history
- good health as evidenced by physical examination
- good character and moral behavior
