Job Summary
Assist one or more Early Childhood teachers in the education, care, supervision, and instruction of pre-school aged children across classrooms, common areas, and playgrounds. Maintain and prepare classroom environments, materials, and control of forms while assisting in developing play-oriented curriculum. Apply for this part-time role at Pacific Infant and Toddler Center with a 4-hour daily schedule, 5 days a week, for 12 months. Requires a high school diploma, six college units in early childhood development, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 6 college units of Early Child Development, Early Childhood Education or other related field with emphasis on infant to pre-school age children
- Successful completion of at least 48 college credit units
- Passage of a competency assessment
- Valid driver's license
- CPR/First Aid certificate with pediatric endorsement
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience in a preschool age enrichment program or child care setting
