Job Summary
Plan, instruct, and assess developmentally appropriate programming for the morning Early Childhood program and the afternoon Elementary School-Aged After-School Program; utilize Grace Place-established curriculum (Creative Curriculum) to develop lesson plans, scope and sequence, and activities; create a developmentally appropriate classroom environment; differentiate instruction; implement PACT Time to build family relationships; manage volunteer involvement; maintain regular parent communication; collaborate with co-teachers and the program manager; conduct home visits, SAP parent events, and staff/parent conferences; ensure safety, compliance with Florida DCF requirements, and accurate records of student progress using Teaching Strategies Gold; uphold marital values of grace and inclusion as part of program quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, required.
- Must obtain Foundation Florida DCF certificate within 1 year of employment.
- Current first aid and CPR certificates (can obtain within 90 days of employment).
- Able to pass background checks and FDLE fingerprinting.
