Job Summary
Translate and adapt educational scripts and materials into Khasi, Garo, or Jaintia to ensure cultural and linguistic relevance for Anganwadi workers and caregivers. Collaborate with content experts on scripting, dubbing, and reviewing video-based and activity-based content while participating in user testing to integrate feedback. Support the training of field staff such as District Coordinators to guarantee accurate delivery of localized content, ensuring all materials align with MECDM's ECCE priorities and national frameworks. Provide ongoing feedback to the content team for continuous improvement of delivery and training practices. This 2-year contract begins June 2025 across Shillong with regular district travel, supporting Rocket Learning's expansion of early childhood programs impacting over 5 million children.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or certification in ECE, Education, Child Development, or related fields
- Fluency in Khasi / Garo / Jaintia (depending on position)
- Working proficiency in English
- 1-3 years of experience in ECCE curriculum development, teacher training, teaching or related education roles
- Familiarity with local culture and early learning practices in Meghalaya
- Comfort working with digital tools
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel to districts for user testing and training sessions
