Job Summary
Nurse patients with DKA, MODS, GDV, central lines, high-flow oxygen, ventilators, and feeding tubes using digital systems and Smartflow. Manage emergency and critical care cases across Moorabbin, Mount Waverley, and Frankston sites with supportive training including orientation, shadow shifts, and tailored mentoring. Provide BLS and ALS rescuer certification support while attending annual clinical symposiums. Work flexible 9-12 hour shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays without on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Applicants currently studying their Certificate IV will be considered
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating roster
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in IV catheter placement, blood sampling, and anaesthesia monitoring advantageous
