EC Teacher - Middle School (3 positions available)

Develop and implement instructional plans compatible with system-wide curricular goals and Individual Education Programs for students with disabilities. Provide direct special education instruction in resource or co-teaching settings while planning non-academic instruction in social skills and post-secondary transition. Create and update Individual Education Programs using diagnostic data, document student progress on goals and accommodations, and monitor behavior using CPI training to intervene safely. Act as a case coordinator by consulting with parents, community caregivers, and support professionals to meet student needs. Maintain student records in accordance with North Carolina statutes and participate in special education meetings as directed by administrators.
