EC Teacher - General Curriculum @ Bessemer City High

Provides special education services to students identified as disabled under State and Federal regulations. Develops and implements IEPs in classroom settings, creates lesson plans, adapts materials, and designs activities to help EC students meet IEP goals. Delivers direct instruction, employs varied teaching methods, monitors progress, maintains EC records, and communicates with parents. Serves as case coordinator for assigned students, collaborates with support professionals and families, and ensures compliance with North Carolina procedures and Federal statutes. Requires knowledge of special education law, curricula, and assessment methods; ability to manage classroom behavior and safely assist students with disabilities; and ability to document progress and coordinate services. Minimum Bachelor’s in Special Education and licensure (or eligibility) required. Location: Bessemer City, NC, United States.
