Job Summary
EC Teacher - General Curriculum provides special education services to students identified as disabled, develops and implements IEPs, and delivers instruction using multiple teaching methods to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social goals. Responsible for monitoring progress, maintaining EC records in compliance with state/federal guidelines, collaborating with parents and support staff, acting as case coordinator for assigned students, and adapting materials to meet individual needs while ensuring safety and appropriate classroom management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from a Regionally Accredited College or University
- Must be licensed in Special Education/General Curriculum (88091) or eligible for licensure
