EC Teacher - Cary

Develop proficient and effective lesson plans aligned with NC State Standard Course of Study while establishing a safe, orderly environment that empowers students. Manage classroom behaviors to minimize disruptions, regularly assess students through formative and summative methods, and differentiate instruction based on individual needs. Participate in the MTSS process, demonstrate leadership through the Leader In Me program, and collaborate with colleagues to build a professional learning community. Work with parents to promote positive behavioral support and mentor teachers to improve instructional effectiveness. This 195-day contract role requires a current North Carolina teaching license and a Bachelor's degree, with a focus on fostering academic and social preparedness within a high-expectation culture.
