EC Teacher Assistant

Cooperate in developing classroom procedures and assist in preparing instructional materials while maintaining awareness of supervising teacher goals. Carry out student supervisory duties to ensure a safe and healthful environment, and facilitate activities that improve the total school program's effectiveness. Provide information concerning program evaluation and assist students in understanding laws, rules, and regulations. Exhibit positive behavior toward children, parents, staff, and administrators while representing school needs to the community. Conduct self as a positive role model, share responsibility for school cleanliness, and assist in developing good housekeeping skills. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. This 10-month position at Piney Grove Elementary School requires a valid North Carolina driver's license, 48 semester hours of college credits or an Associate Degree, and availability to work extended hours.
