EC Teacher - Adapted Curriculum (2026-2027)

EC Teacher - Adapted Curriculum delivering specialized instruction to students with disabilities, developing and implementing IEPs, adapting general education content to meet individual needs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress and maintain records. Responsibilities include planning lessons, employing adaptive strategies (including ABSS/adapted curriculum approaches, multisensory techniques, and phonetics), ensuring compliance with state/federal mandates, conducting IEP meetings, and supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in special education, NC certification for Exceptional Children (or eligible), and a valid NC driver’s license; preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, 3-5 years of experience, and Spanish-speaking ability.
