Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day EC Manufacturing operation at Unit 17, ensuring safe, efficient delivery of fragrance products to meet global supply and customer demand. Set and monitor key operational KPIs across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People to drive performance. Manage departmental budgets, plan capacity and resources, and identify risks to ensure business continuity. Develop management and operational teams through coaching, succession planning, and multi-skilling initiatives. Champion Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational change to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain to align production plans with business demand and support new product launches. Maintain high standards of GMP, Health & Safety, and ATEX compliance while preparing for internal and external audits.
Required Qualifications
- Leading a manufacturing or production operation, with responsibility for performance, delivery and cost
- Leading, coaching and developing people, including managers and operational teams
- Using data, KPIs and financial information to understand performance and make informed decisions
- Production planning, capacity management and working with changing customer demand
- Continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing and delivering measurable improvements
- Managing operational change, including new processes, systems, equipment or ways of working
- Working collaboratively across different teams and balancing competing priorities
- Managing Health & Safety, quality and compliance within a manufacturing environment
- Experience of ATEX
