EC Resource Teacher

EC Resource Teacher responsible for maximizing the learning experience of students with special needs by implementing district-approved curriculum, documenting teaching and student progress/outcomes, addressing students' specific needs, and providing a safe and optimal learning environment. Responsibilities include conducting assessments/diagnostic examinations, developing and implementing IEPs, coordinating with administrators and staff, staying current with educational developments, maintaining accurate records, encouraging parental involvement, and applying knowledge of Response to Instruction. Requires physical ability to operate office equipment and vehicle, strong communication in English, and ability to use data systems and technology to support student learning.
