Job Summary
EC Resource/Inclusion Teacher responsible for planning, organizing and presenting instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills contributing to their educational and social development. Duties include managing instructional time and student behavior, delivering clear instructional presentations, monitoring student performance, providing timely feedback, facilitating instruction aligned with curricular goals, and performing non-instructional duties. Requires North Carolina teaching licensure or eligibility for licensure. Strong emphasis on inclusive practices, ability to work with diverse student needs, and collaboration with students, coworkers, parents, and the community.
Required Qualifications
- North Carolina Teacher Licensure OR Eligibility for Alternative North Carolina Teacher Licensure
- MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction
