EC Program Specialist

Job Summary
EC Program Specialist provides instructional and behavioral support across all schools for students eligible for Exceptional Children (EC) services. Responsibilities include classroom and curriculum coaching, professional development for staff, providing beginning teacher support, targeted student interventions, and behavior support to promote academic and social success. Knowledgeable in strategies and curriculums for students using Standard Course of Study and Extended Content Standards; delivers high-quality professional development, collaborates with school personnel, and monitors program fidelity with data collection. Requires collaboration with EC staff and administration, ability to organize PLCs, and ongoing coaching and training for teachers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with coursework in special education, or related field
- North Carolina Teacher Certification, or State Licensure in related field
- At least 3-5 years experience as an EC Teacher
