EC Pre-K Instructional Assistant

Provide support to the instructional program for EC Pre-K by collaborating with classroom teachers to work with small groups of students, assist teachers with identified students in need of intervention or enrichment, conduct assessments under supervision, maintain manual and electronic files and records, implement academic and behavioral interventions as needed, organize instructional materials for small groups, report student progress to assist teachers with instructional plans, supervise students during class, between classes, lunch and recess, and assist with meetings and professional learning; support students with special needs and adapt instruction as needed within the school setting; safeguard confidentiality and adhere to policies and procedures.
