EC&I Responsible Engineer

Job Summary
EC&I Responsible Engineer accountable for all electrical, control & instrumentation engineering within their area, ensuring work is safe, compliant, and fit for purpose across the full lifecycle. Provides technical leadership, sets standards, oversees assurance, and retains responsibility for engineering decisions (including delegated ones). Desirable: nuclear/high-hazard experience; full lifecycle delivery from concept to handover; knowledge of SEMS & gated processes. UK compliance and plant room design/governance are emphasized; leading multi-disciplinary teams and promoting safety, quality & compliance culture are key responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering
- Extensive EC&I experience suited to a Responsible Engineer role
- Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to meet security clearance & site access requirements
- SQEP compliant with SR0696 & ED21 standards
