Job Summary
EC Adapted Curriculum Teacher for K-5 under moderate supervision develops lesson plans and delivers group and individual instruction aligned to IEPs; administers and interprets assessments to monitor progress toward academic and behavioral goals; collaborates with administration and educators to create an inclusive educational environment; utilizes data to inform instruction, applies behavioral strategies (e.g., ABA concepts, FBA, BIPs) to address student needs, maintains accurate records, and communicates with families. Requires Bachelor’s degree and NC Teaching license; Master’s degree in education preferred. Travel to district buildings and professional meetings may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree preferred
- Valid NC Teaching license in assigned area
- Equivalent combination of experience and education
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license or ability to provide own transportation
- Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings
