Job Summary
Design and develop Powertrain Modules including Accelerator Pedal, Electric Drive Systems, and Thermal Management to meet vehicle program requirements. Shape development strategies and roadmaps while conducting market research to define optimal solutions. Coordinate activities from system to component levels, manage technical deliverables, and drive integration and verification activities. Lead working groups to resolve issues, monitor progress, control budgets, and serve as the primary technical point of contact for cross-functional teams. Comply with company standards and apply lessons learned for continuous improvement. Requires 8+ years in automotive powertrain domains and proficiency with engineering tools.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in automotive industry
- At least, bachelor's degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
- Founded expertise in the Powertrain domain: Electric Drive System, Driveline, Thermal system, Calibration, High Voltage Components, High Voltage Battery etc for ICE or PHEV or BEV or REEV
- Demonstrated agility in operating within matrixed organizations and teams
- Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills to perform successfully in multi-national relationships
- Practical experience in authoring timing plans, management of deliverables tracking, program status
- Excellent communication skills and able to build strong collaboration with cross-functional teams from different areas of the company and with the key supplier
- Strong resilience and ability to deal with high pressure situations using a logical data driven approach
- Good proficiency with Powertrain engineering tools, software
