Job Summary
Conduct loan decisions, cross-sell products and services, and assist with delinquent accounts to ensure excellent service to the membership. Review online and mobile loan applications, detect and prevent fraud through thorough credit file analysis, and evaluate applications against lending matrix limits. Secure loans with necessary collateral and obtain proper insurance coverage while maintaining integrity in all credit union files. Comply with state statutes, National Credit Union Association rules, and federal regulations including GLB and BSA. Available Monday-Thursday 8:20 am - 5 pm, Friday 8:20 am - 6 pm, with on-site or home office flexibility at Rock Hill Center or Lancaster, SC.
Required Qualifications
- knowledge of and compliance with all applicable State Statutes and Regulations relating to Credit Union, National Credit Union Rules and Regulations, Consumer Regulations and Visa regulations
- complete working knowledge of loan and Visa products and policies
- ability to successfully cross-sell products and services
- ability to make decisions on loans/cards to members while adhering to Founders Federal Credit Union lending matrix limits and guidelines
- minimum of two years' financial institution experience or a two-year degree
- self-motivation
- ability to meet goals established for the role
- confidence in cross selling to membership
- integrity to all credit union files
- compliance with Founders' policies and procedures, as well applicable laws, regulations, and statutes issued by federal agencies such as NCUA and FFIEC, including, but not limited to, GLB and BSA
- availability Monday-Thursday 8:20 am - 5 pm, Friday 8:20 am - 6 pm
- ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check
- ability to pass a drug screen
- ability to pass a consumer credit investigation
- ability to pass a previous employer reference check
