Job Summary
eBilling Supervisor for a large national law firm with offices in Los Angeles, Century City, Orange County, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Dallas, New York, and Washington, DC. Leads a team of eight to nine direct reports within the eBilling and Billing Team, overseeing analysis and resolution of complex eBilling issues, invoice reductions and rejections, and coordinating communications with involved parties to ensure timely progress. Responsible for organizing workflows, supervising training and performance development, enhancing systems to track client issues, tracking resubmission deadlines, and coordinating with billing specialists and managers to address delinquencies. Must master the functionality of major eBilling sites (e.g., LegalTracker, CounselLink, TyMetrix360, CounselGO, BillingPoint, Corridor) and be proficient with LEDES formats (LEDES1998, LEDES98BI, LEDES98BI V2, XML). Strong technical skills with MS Office and data manipulation, with the ability to pull reports and analyze data for process improvements. A university degree is preferred but not required; 5+ years of related experience and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, client-service oriented environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of legal e-billing experience is required
- Must communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
- Must have excellent attention to detail and work well under pressure
- Must be able to manage competing requests and prioritize according to firm and client deadlines
- Ability to work OT when necessary
- Experience with MS Office Suite and ability to leverage technology in work processes
- Experience with eBillingHub or BillBlast is preferred and experience with Aderant is a plus
