Job Summary
EB Account Manager collaborates with the EB Account Executive and Producer/Adviser to deliver comprehensive client service for employee benefits, handling renewals and new business, preparing RFPs and proposals, reviewing quotes based on cost and network, and educating clients on industry trends. Responsibilities include proactive client communications via phone, email, and in-person interactions; troubleshooting benefits-program issues; coordinating with internal teams to retain existing accounts; utilizing systems like ThinkHR, Zywave, Springbuk, Compliance Dashboard, and EPIC for client data and open enrollment materials; creating renewal proposals and summaries, and ensuring accurate, timely delivery of materials and updates to clients. The role emphasizes relationship management, detail-oriented analysis of options, and adherence to Mountain West EB workflows to ensure data reliability and client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Colorado Life and Health Insurance license
- 1-2 years preferred EB Account Management experience
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
