Job Summary
Review and follow residents' individually designed ADL directives, provide verbal and physical assistance with transfers and ambulation, and answer call lights promptly. Administer daily medications in accordance with clinician guidance, record vital signs and conditions on flow sheets, and report changes to the supervisor. Assist with toileting, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, meal service, and activities while maintaining neat work areas and ensuring resident safety. This role supports residents in a 21-bed skilled nursing facility with opportunities for career growth within a nonprofit organization focused on improving the lives of older adults.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current CNA license in good standing
- Must have a Medication Aide / CMA certification as required by the state
- Must have current CPR/First Aid certification
- Must be able to read/write/speak sufficiently in English in order to complete responsibilities of the position
- Experience using electronic point of record/electronic health record software
- Background check
- Other pre-employment screenings (physical, TB test)
