Job Summary
Line Maintenance Supervisor responsible for monitoring maintenance activities and supervising Maintenance Technicians; develop and administer technician schedules for the station; coordinate with HR and payroll; ensure completion of required paperwork; promote teamwork between maintenance personnel and flight crews; maintain workspaces and tooling per company policies; uphold safety procedures; pursue additional qualifications as needed; requires FAA A&P certification, a high school diploma or GED, and 2-3 years in a part 121 environment; travel to airport/field locations may be required; heavy physical work and ability to drive/operate maintenance equipment; strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
- Ability to pass assessment demonstrating knowledge of line maintenance under part 121 operations
- Two to three years of experience on commercial aircraft in a part 121 environment (Boeing 737 classic experience highly preferred)
- Basic avionics knowledge
- Ability to travel to airport/aircraft field locations with little or short notice
- Ability to drive tugs, trucks, taxi aircraft, lift trucks, and other maintenance vehicles
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Physical ability to crawl, bend, kneel, climb, and stoop frequently in confined spaces
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
- Valid Driver's License and driving record meeting company standards
- Active Passport
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol background check, pre-employment drug test, and CHRC
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the Internet
- Familiarity with accessing online aircraft manuals
- Ability to multitask in dynamic environment
- Work will include outdoors with seasonal weather
- Ability to work in elevated areas
- Position requires very heavy physical work (70-100 pounds)
