Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner position in East Valley offices (Chandler/Mesa, AZ) focusing on oncology care, collaborating with physicians to manage patient care in office and hospital settings. Responsibilities include counseling patients on health behaviors and treatment options, assessing and monitoring chronic hematologic conditions and chemotherapy side effects, obtaining histories, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies under physician supervision, prescribing medications, prescribing rehabilitation and survivorship directives, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team in a coordinated cancer-care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Practitioner licensed to work in the State of Arizona
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Current license through the Arizona State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current DEA license
