Job Summary
Earthworks Foreman to lead crews on civil construction projects involving sitework, grading, excavation, and utilities support. This hands-on leadership role requires running a crew, coordinating equipment, reading plans, and keeping production safe and efficient. Responsibilities include leading earthwork, grading, excavation, and site prep; coordinating with operators, laborers, and truck drivers; interpreting plans and grades; planning with project managers; ensuring proper site layout, elevations, and grading tolerances; overseeing equipment usage; maintaining safety and quality; identifying and solving field issues; keeping the jobsite organized and progressing. Requirements include proven foreman/lead experience in earthwork/civil construction; strong knowledge of grading/sitework, excavation/backfill, reading plans/grades, utilities; ability to lead crews and communicate on-site; experience with heavy equipment; valid driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Foreman or Lead in earthwork / civil construction
- Strong understanding of grading and sitework, excavation and backfill, reading plans and grades, working around utilities
- Ability to lead crews and communicate clearly on the jobsite
- Experience with heavy equipment and coordinating operators
- Valid driver’s license
