Job Summary
The Earth Science Teacher will be responsible for managing instructional programs, completing grading, creating progress reports, and conducting parent conferences. Required tasks include supporting the instructional program with both asynchronous and synchronous instruction, communicating regularly with parents and students, and collaborating with other teachers. The role requires a strong understanding of the K-12 curriculum, keeping student records updated, working on special projects, and participating in various community activities. Candidates must have a valid Earth Science Secondary Teacher license for Minnesota and demonstrate strong technology skills along with excellent communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Earth Science Secondary Teacher license preferred
- Highly qualified and certified to teach Earth Science Secondary in Minnesota (appropriate to grade level and content area responsibilities)
- Ability to work remotely, if necessary
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
- Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication
